Bayer CropScience halts Ankleshwar production
Ankleshwar – March 26, 2010,
Bayer CropScience has been asked by the authorities to halt manufacturing activities at its Ankleshwar unit.
This is subsequent to a fire that broke out at a storage tank on site on March 11, 2010.
Bayer CropScience has suspended manufacturing at the site. The company is working closely with the
local authorities and is seeking to resume normal production as early as feasible.
Bayer CropScience has sufficient stocks of key products manufactured at Ankleshwar so that no major
interruption of product supply to its customers is foreseen at this time.
