Bayer MaterialScience is one of the leading players in the PU industry, with a range of materials and solutions that make a vital contribution towards improving the quality of life for consumers, particularly in the area of automotive development, construction, furniture, sports and leisure. The key focus of the PU business unit is cost efficiency through highly efficient and environmentally compatible production processes in world-scale production facilities. The PU business unit has two main business avenues, i.e., raw materials for basic products such as methylenediphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) and toluene diisocyanate (TDI); and systems houses under the BaySystems® umbrella brand.

BaySystems® has an expanding network of systems houses in Asia, with one in India, located in Greater Noida, and others in Thailand, Japan, China and Taiwan. These systems houses offer a range of products, applications and services that are individually tailored for the needs of each customer, and work closely with customers to bring their products to the market and help realize their visions.
