a Precautions:
 i) Storage: Store away from reach of children and domestic animals. The package containing the insecticide shall be stored in original packing, in separate rooms or premises away from rooms or premises used for storing foodstuffs and fodder, in a cool, well lit dry room under lock and key. The rooms or premises meant for storing the insecticides shall be well built and ventilated and of sufficient dimensions.
ii) Transportation: It should be transported in such a way as not to come in direct contact with foodstuff and animal feed. If found to have leaked out in transport or storage, owner should take such measures urgently to prevent poisoning or pollution.
iii) Mixing: Use stick or rod for stirring during preparation of spray mixture. Do not use hands.
iv) Spraying: Avoid oral contact with Insecticide. Do not smoke, handle or eat food while spraying and avoid inhalation of spray mist. Spray only in the direction of wind currents and not against so as to avoid spray mist settling on body. Wear hat, face shield, cotton overalls and shoes. Do not use near fish culture ponds near mulberry fields or when bees are active.
v) Post spraying: Wash hands and contaminated parts of body well with soap and plenty of water after application. Clean sprayer thoroughly with water after after completion of work.
vi) Limitations for use: Do not use in those situations if there is a possibility of harming bees, silk worms, fish, livestock, game, wild birds and animals. Do not contaminate ponds or streams or ditches with chemicals or used containers. Do not treat foodgrains, seeds or feed meant for consumption by man or animals. Do not spray within 2 weeks of harvest.
